Textiles

By drawing myself in the garment the work took on a totally new meaning for me. My work from this point on became extremely personal and cathartic, the work found its own feet, it found me not me it.

I realised how much like that garment I felt, delicate, vulnerable and weathered by time, I wrote some more haiku verses which felt right for the work and strengthened the link with Japan.

When I look into your eyes
